Lawrence, just for completeness: there is a long discussion
in the bug-tracker, see

After Gilles has implemented keyboard short-cuts, the plan
is to close this bug and to open new, separate(!), wishes
for all remaining suggestions, so that each can be discussed
and tackled separately ...
