Arnd,

A lots of technicals descriptions can be hosted by standard Exif tags. Extra
descriptions can be hosted by IPTC if Exif is not enough. Metadata editor
can be used for that :

Note : With XMP supported by KDE4 port, we will host more and more
informations with max. interoperability.
