Hi,
I found the existence of the following characters in a digikam comments or exif comments field to cause the
'invalid signature' error.
- a 'space' character after the last line in the comments field
- a 'enter' character after the last line in the comments field
- a diacritic sign (e.g. a cedille) in the comments field
