[Digikam-users] ideas...

hi all,

i've just joined the digikam mailing list, and wanted to contribute or discuss 
some new ideas. I don't know whether this is the right place, or if i should 
join the kipi mailinglist group. 

I've found some really nice plugins for GIMP, and thought they'd be very 
useful for Digikam/Showfoto as well.

The plugins are called "Color Temperature" and "Lomography".

The Color Temperature plugin can be downloaded here:

It can be used to correct the red color cast of photos taken under 
incandescent light with the camera on daylight setting, or to correct the 
blue cast of outdoor photos taken in overcast conditions. The color 
conversions are based on black-body colors at various temperatures, and are 
performed in the sRGB color space.

And the "Lomography" Plugin can be downloaded from here:

I don't know if these can be adopted to Digikam in one way or another?!

But I thought I would post them to start a discussion.
