[Digikam-users] No UTF-8 in Keywords?

Gilles,

I've made a patch ( http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151719 ) which
handles non latin1 encoding of iptc keywords.

What is interesting in this patch (IMHO) is that is preserves per image
encoding what is more flexible than what offers imatch.

Maybe you will find this idea attractive.

This is working workaround, so I can use correct spelling for my friends 
names and they are not replaced with '?' while written into image.

I know it is a temporary solution but if someone else is such inpatient 
as I am
please use it (for 0.9.2-final).
