[Digikam-users] Digikam slow

Arnd,

To my son school, digiKam is installed on old computer :

PIII-500 Mhz 512Mb RAM
PIII-650 Mhz 512Mb RAM
AMD K7 - 1.2 Ghz 800 Mb RAM
PIV 1,6 Ghz 1Gb RAM

etc...

No problem relevant. Root album is always in a local drive (generally IDE).
Mandriva 2008.0 is used as linux box...
