[Digikam-users] Map area tag?

Is there possibilities to add "area tag" to that map. It would be that you 
have lasso or other selection tool and user could draw a area to map where 
pictures has taken and then digikam shows only those pictures? 

Would it be possible has more accurates map than only "a world".
Like World > USA > North USA or South USA.
Or World > Europe > Skandinavia?
