[Digikam-users] Newbye with some unresolved questions

I will ask all my questions one by one not to be confused .
The first mystery i have not succeed to resolve is :
Although i can use gphoto2 in terminal mode with my sony dsc w07,Digikam does 
not handled it .
More details :
My digikam version is 0.7.2 on a debian sarge PC .
the way i succeed in loading my pictures :
root at box:/home/user/Desktop/New Folder# gphoto2 --get-all-files
Downloading 'DSC00149.JPG' from folder '/store_00010001'...
Saving file as DSC00149.JPG
Downloading 'DSC00150.JPG' from folder '/store_00010001'...
Saving file as DSC00150.JPG   

 While my sony is connected through USB on mode "read" option : USb PTP.
gphoto2 version is 2.1.6-2
KDesktop version is 4:3.3.2
