[Digikam-users] installing digikam 7.3

If I try to install digikam 7.3, after ./configure I get the message:
 
"digikam needs libtiff. You need to install the libtiff development packages."

My system is SuSE 9.3 The libtiff development package is 3.7.1-7
The libtiff runtime package is 3.7.1-7.2
