No problem over here.

But i recall some problem with libtiff-devel or something when i compiled 
digikam 7.3 beta1

./configure noticed that it was missing, but went on never the less
make failed with some weird error message
then i installed libtiff-devel and everything went fine :)
So perhaps Andrew can provide the output of ./configure
