Hello digikam writers!
First of all: why the stealth release of Digikam 0.7.3? Not too modest
please, it's one of the best photo-tools for Linux around!
But, as usual, some trouble in paradise:
When trying to compile digikam 0.7.3 from source on the following system:
System: SuSE 9.2
KDE-version: 3.3.0 (standard SuSE 9.2)
gcc 3.3.4 (standard SuSE 9.2)
make 3.80 (standard SuSE 9.2)
./configure works fine, with no apparent error messages.
but make goes wrong. Error message:
digikamthumbnail.cpp:662: error: visibility arg must be one of
"default", "hidden", "protected" or "internal"
make[3]: *** [digikamthumbnail.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/stephan/Software/digikam/digikam-0.7.3/digikam/kioslave'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/stephan/Software/digikam/digikam-0.7.3/digikam'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/stephan/Software/digikam/digikam-0.7.3'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Help!
Greetings,
