[Digikam-users] digikam 0.8: slackware package, static please

Hi list,

I was wondering if there's a slack package (mantainer maybe?) out
there, of a static package of course, cos the usual package that has
deps on dyn libs like Imlib2 is not going to cut it for me. In fact,
its compilation is killing me (slack 10.2).

from digikam ./configure:
-- imlib2 found................... NO

digiKam needs imlib2-config. You need to install Imlib 2.x, e.g. from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/enlightenment/imlib2-1.0.6.tar.gz

from imlib2 make:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.6/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld:
cannot find -lImlib2
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [jpeg.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory /home/chef/src/imlib2-1.0.6/loaders'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory /home/chef/src/imlib2-1.0.6'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

so, while compiling imlib2 it seems Imlib2 is missing. WTH?! Anyone
with a static build of digikam-0.8 out there? this sucks...
