[Digikam-users] Date view in 8.0 Beta1

I really like this feature, except for one thing.  It seems to be based on the 
date of the file, rather than the date the image was taken (based on exif 
data).  This creates an issue where I've waited a while between downloading 
pictures off the camera or I've imported a whole lot of photos from someone 
else.  Is it possible to either provide a toggle between file date and the 
exif date, or some variation of that?
