[Digikam-users] Tags don't set

I am using digiKam 0.7.2 with kde 3.3.2 in Debian Sarge.

Things seem to be working well with this exception.  I received several
photos taken by someone else by email and saved them in the album folder
I want to see them in.  There are there when I look in digikam and when
I click on the image it opens in the veiwer/editor.

But no matter which way I try to set tags or comments on these images,
they don't appear.

I thought it was a permission problem.  The owner/group is kgw/kgw and
that is me.  I found the permissions of the files were rw- instead of
rwx like my other photos so I change that, but still now luck.

I am baffled.  Any suggestions?
