could you do a ls -al /mnt/fujidcam/ after mounting the camera?

And if it contains items, please try with konqueror to go into that folder and 
see if you can navigate to your images. 

If that works, pleas go to the settings and add a USB Mass Storage Device and 
give the path /mnt/fujidcam there. Do _not_ choose your camera but the mass 
storage driver to access your camera.
