Hi,
Your plugin is already appended to all digiKam bundles with my last commits
in bug #448593.
This will include AppImage, MacOS package, Windows installer when
Continuous Deployment server will be re-started.
This is already handled by Flatpak bundles generated by KDE CD server.
This will also be planned with Snap bundle by the KDE team who maintain
this.
No need to append your code to digiKam core. All is already done as 3rd
party plugins in deployment workflow. Same process is already done with
ImageMosaic and GmicQt plugins, both also hosted in dedicated github
repositories.
Note : i will close bug #448593 when the CD server is restarted and after
to check that all is properly packaged in the bundles.
Best
