Hi,

To contribute we propose a web page to start with the basis in user space:

https://www.digikam.org/contribute/

As developer you need to checkout code from gitlab repository, and
successfully compile the code :

https://www.digikam.org/download/git/

The developper document has plenty of information :

https://www.digikam.org/api/

After this stage (compilation and rune, read doc), bugzilla is open
for fixes. Start with solving easy dysfunctions or improvements, and
ask for guidance.
