digikam 6.2.0 64-bit appimage error

After uninstalling zlib 1.2.11 from /usr/local/lib, so only the stock 1.2.8
is available, I'm getting the same error for
digikam-6.3.0-git-20190802T044040-x86-64.appimage.
I mounted the appimage and didn't find libz.so* in the image. I see the
comment that was added to *04-build-appimage.sh*
<https://invent.kde.org/kde/digikam/blob/46e82fe37f4c27c79081e1fd152d9c9cc7d9d5f1/project/bundles/appimage/04-build-appimage.sh>,
but libz.so.1 is still listed in the EXCLUDE_FILES variable.
