The glib2 dll exists on your MXE ?
What the MXE log about glib2 ? 
Mine from
/mnt/devel/GIT/5.x/project/bundles/mxe/build.win32/log/glib_i686-w64-mingw32.shared
indicate a trace about download + configure + make + make install without
error.
