In the current 4.4.0 appimage (64bit Linux, Ubuntu 16.04 amd64) since importing
the last batch of images from my camera, I cannot enter preview mode (with one
image enlarged and the rest as thumbnails at the top) any more.
When I try, simply nothing happens, except that the toolbar options are toggled
respectively ("Vorschaubild" becomes active).

Restarting digikam fixes this usually, but then sometimes the menu and toolbars
are gone.
