I am sorry for the somewhat unclear description of the problem.
Trying again.

See picture.
I have selected people tags, Odd Harry, and thumbnail view, ( not preview and
show face tags )
The thumbnails shows only the marked part of the pictures with my face on, but
below the thumbnail all tags for the whole picture is listed.
Also other peoples names if they are tagged on the same picture.

I hope this helps reproducing the slightly confusing situation.
