digiKam 5.6.0 pre version do not crash under Wayland using Linux Mageia 6
Cauldron, with Plasma 5 desktop.

The backtrace do not show a specific code in digiKam which crash the
application. It decent in-deep in Qt5 and the system libraries.

Also, if you can install debug symbols this can help to investigate.
