I tested here using samples from http://www.sample-videos.com/

Mp4 and 3GP preview work fine. Other format, no.

I'm sure that it's a missing codec problem installed on the system and used by
Qt5Multimedia (same problem than under Windows).

The preview doesn't work at all (idem than Windows probably).
