Using today's git head, 7fb769c27cf48408cf45cad65ba4330940663c05.

Generating thumbnails takes a long time and makes the Import window
unresponsive. Many users don't need to see thumbs in the Import window. For
many users the more important thing is being able to quickly import our photos
from a memory card or via USB into digiKam.
Please add an option to disable thumbnails in the Import window.

As an example, I have just 223 raw images on my SD card, but the import window
was unresponsive for so long I closed it (with great difficulty), re-opened it,
still unresponsive, restarted digiKam, opened the Import window again, still
unresponsive. I let it sit there for a minute before it became responsive. I
guess thumbnail generation is to blame. This was a waste of time, I just want
to "download all".
