            Bug ID: 365668
Summary: git master 2016-07-14: tagger allows text input when
hovered over, then does crazy stuff
           Product: digikam
           Version: 5.1.0
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Tags
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: evert.vorster at yandex.com

When hovering over an image, the "Who is this?" tagger pops up, and allows text
input. However, there is a difference between hovering over and having clicked
in the text box.
Both accept text, but if you have not clicked in the text box all the shortcut
keys are active, and while typing in the name of the person you are sure to hit
some sort of hotkey.

Text input should either be disabled in hover over mode until the text field is
clicked, or the hotkeys disabled.

It took me quite a while to figure out what I was doing wrong here, and I am
sure I am not the first one.

Reproducible: Always
