With the installer
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzeiVr-byqt5V3dtLTNKTjUwQmM both digiKam and
Showfoto start fine in 32-bit, but the installer defaults to "C:\Program
Files\digiKam\" which is the path for 64-bit software.

Just for the record:
%ProgramFiles% ==> C:\Program Files\
%ProgramFiles(x86)% ==> C:\Program Files (x86)\
