With the option "Store metadata from digikam in Baloo" selected...

... when I select an individual image and apply a set of tags, those tags seem
to correctly be reflected as tags in the Dolphin Information Panel (via Baloo
extended attributes).

However, "Album > Write Metadata to Images" does NOT seem to store the metadata
into Baloo, or make those tags accessible via Dolphin.  This is important
because I would like to avoid having to individually select each image to make
(previously assigned) tags accessible to Baloo.

My installation:
Kubuntu 15.10
Digikam 4.12.0
KDE Frameworks 5.15.0
