Summary: Cannot import from MTP smartphone on smb (NAS) device
Product: digikam
Version: 4.10.0
Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Import
Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org

I have just started to use digikam, so this is the first import from my camera
(Samsung Galaxy Core). The system (kubuntu 14.04) works very well with it, so I
can copy the files from the camera. The problem is with digikam.
digikam recognizes my camera, so I can browse the pictures on it. But when I
select one of them, then try to download I have (showed in the history window)
the error message, that digikam had unsuccessful download 'name of the file..'.
It happens when I choose albums located on the NAS (synaptic) device. It works
ok, when the album is on the local disk.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug device into computer
2. select the device to import
3. select picture
4. select download
Actual Results:
after i while error
Expected Results:
the picture in the album
The package I use is from this repo:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/philip5/extra/ubuntu trusty main
