You don't need to code to continue (:=)))... Do you seen my previous comment
with all commands to use in a console to compile my test code ?

To check if your exiv2 has xmp part compiled :

nm /lib/libexiv2.so.13 |grep xmp

... just adjust path to libexiv2.so.13 file
