I updated source from gits on March 17th and the problem was still there,
however, after the most recent update to fedora 21 now the problem is gone.  I
would support closing this bug now as I can no longer verify.

Just a note: After this latest fedora 21 update now I can again see my movie
files in the preview pane.  This has not worked for quite some time and it is a
very welcome change.
