Just did another test run by converting 140 images (shot with my Canon 60D)
from CR2 to DNG.
Moving the converted images into a new album in the same local collection went
fine, but moving them to a new album in another local collection corrupted the
data of 9 of the 140 dng files.

After running the following query against the database:

-- select * from images where name in (select name from images where fileSize =
0);
delete from images where name in (select name from images where fileSize = 0);

and refreshing the album in digiKam, part of the data of the corrupted DNGs
seems to be restored...
However when hovering over those images it seems that ISO values are missing...
