            Bug ID: 350098
Summary: add possibility to filter based on photograph specific
                    metadata
           Product: digikam
           Version: 4.11.0
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Filters
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: freisim93 at gmail.com

As of now to filter images by e.g. camera model one has to use the advanced
search under photograph information. It would be more convenient, to have a
filter in the left toolbar for such information that is already stored in the
database.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter Album with pictures made by different cameras.
2. Apply changes to pictures taken with one specific camera.

Actual Results:
One has to use the Advanced Search.

By the proposed filter in the left sidebar this operation needs less steps and
is thus a lot faster. It is in my opinion a natural extension of the current
available filters.
