Hi Kristian,
I now get this message in the console when you start digiKam:

Object::connect: No such signal
Digikam::NewItemsFinder::completeTransactionDeferred(ProgressItem*)

The completeTransactionDeferred(ProgressItem*) signal do not exist in
ProgressItem implementation.
