It crash because album instance is null 

Digikam::Album::isRoot (this=0x0)
                                                    ^^^^
...at call album.cpp :: line 298 (return m_root)

Which condition exactly you drag and drop ? Where do you drop content in album
tree view ? I would try to reproduce...
