Just some thoughts:

1. The already existing entries from database with the filter should not be
removed in my opinion in that place but in maintenance if at all.
2. Blacklist entries should not be hardcoded directly, but provided through
some kind of interface/variable (QStringList? Regexp support?), so that other
dirs and files can be easily added for exclusion in the future if needed.
3. Is there a need to expose this to the UI somehow? Adding a setting to "add
collection" dialog?
