            Bug ID: 337449
Summary: Detach panel from main window for better multi-screen
                    experience
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Image Editor
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: zacktesting at gmail.com

Use case:
- one screen with good colour display
- another screen which is OK for the interface but is not good for photo
editing.

Example: Plug my cheap netbook into a seperate display. I would like to be able
to control the editing (for instance using Curves) on the small (and bad
contrast) netbook display. But I would like the main image to be displayed on
the good external screen so I can see the effect accurately.

Many other photo editors allow you to "float" palettes and panels so that this
can be achieved.

I think this has been discussed before but I cannot find an appropriate
WISHLIST item.
