Installation could not succeed due many reasons.
Software it self nor error files "document" why it do not work.
Some reasons:
-can not connet DB's
-dose not have right's  ( by the way, digikam requires too much rights at
installation!!! )
-can not lock *.db ( if useing NFS disk and it trye to create sql.db there!! )
-Read/Write rights
-plugins, depencyes

Error messages should state directory, file and reason!
