I have the same problem, i'm currently using version 4.2.0. I have a pretty
large collection (about 250k images) and it takes more than 10 minutes to show
the user interface.
As I can see in the welcome screen, it takes a long time scaning albums and
reading database. Is it possible to do run these tasks at background?
