Thomas, we cannot help you without a backtrace, sorry. Please ask for support
in a forum of your distribution.

Try pasting the incomplete backtrace here, or try valgrind or gdb as described
in the link from comment #2. You could also try reproducing on a freshly
created user account to rule out bad configuration files.
