Hallo Gilles,

first thank you for your quick answer.

I have done some experiments with importing from camera and saving in
folders.
It actually seems that digikam has problems with reading folder or file
names, her
especially with a mutuation-letter (ASCII 132-รค, code 250, German).

I can handle this name with dolphin without any problems. If I open digikam
it shows this name but does not do any action with it.
Deleting the name in dolphin dos not have any influence on digikam`s
album list. Also uninstall and reinstall of digikam had no influence, the
name was again displayed.
The question for me is now where (folder, entry or program module) stores
digikam this information and how can I delete it.

Friendly Yours

Wolfgang
