The information in the database disappeared.  The files were moved, but now
they have no metadata associated with them.

At first, I was also concerned that the .xmp files were not copied, but that
was a mistake on my part.  That is why I changed the subject.

So, no files were lost, just all the metadata I had entered.  And, there's no
simple way of recovering because there is no copy and paste metadata that I
have been able to find.
