Thumbnails appear normally, images open without any problem in external
viewers. However, when a JPEG image is selected, the preview will not appear
--- just the error "Failed to load image". Same thing happens when trying to
open the editor or the slideshow.

Only affects JPEG images; GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP all open normally.

Affects JPEG files both locally and on network shares.

3.4 repo install on new installation of PCLinuxOS.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select thumbnail in the album viewer
Actual Results:  
"Failed to load image"

Expected Results:  
Preview image is displayed.
