Currently I can only dragdrop images from my collections, ie. from inside
Digikam. It would be very convenient to be able to search for images from
external folders (via Dolphin) or even online from a browser.

A common use case for me is: Do I have this image in my collection? Dropping it
in Digikam to get the answer would be great!
