No. No kipi-plugins access to internet until you start it... At digiKam
startup, no plugins is started.

Perhaps it's due to libkgeopmap, who use Konqueror backend to display
googlemaps in geolocation parts, if you use googlemaps of course...

Also, which default web browser is set in KDE control center ?
