- my thumbnails-digikam.db has 8.5 GB
- my digikam4.db has 414,6 MB
- my RAM has 8 GB size
 - I use sqlite

- Is it libtiff again? 
- Could there be other reasons?
- How can I help?

- Is there a reasonable strategy to keep databases smaller?
