Summary: SUGGESTION: a maintainer hould be able to address
"sleeping bugs"

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: general
Product: digikam
when I was browse digikam buslist, I find some dublettes spontaneouly.
In introductional remarks, peaople from KDE bugtracking system talk about half
of 2new" bugs, which have been described already...
Many bugs refer to oldish stuff which might haven been resolved since years..
For this background, I suggest the following:
A maintainer/admin should be able to address to those people who made the
accourding bug reports.
Why not simply ask those people (by hidden(!!) massmailing), if these bugs are
still value at all?
If not, erase those messages after some weeks delay.
The bugs list hould not be allowed to increase without limits- the more
everyone had to checks if opening a new bug-report, the less chances we'll
experience, everyone does this...
On the other side. the lesse everyone needs to read, the more he/she can
concentrate on reading and wirting new bug reports.
