            Bug ID: 306357
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
Summary: Automatically Sync an album with online Albums (Mainly
                    Google Photos & Facebook)
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: tiago.schumann at gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: Export
           Product: digikam

Digikam is great for organizing photos on desktop, but there's still a
essential feature that keeps me tied to Picasa (even if it has to be wine
based) that is the possibility to sync albums on my library with online albums
and optionalt sync only the starred photos. It's very practical because I don't
have to bother if the photo has already been exported. Once the album is marked
to be sync, if I put a star on a photo or remove it changes are automatically
reflected on the online album. If Digikam implements something similar, it will
be the best photo organizer ever.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Not avaiable

Expected Results:
1. Select an album and choose an option to online sync
2. Choose the online service (Google Photos is essential for me, Facebook is
desired and Flickr would let some other people happy)
3. Choose if the whole album will be synchronized or only photos above a
certain number of stars
4. Whenever a new photo is added or starred on the album (dependigin of the
previous choice) it will be exported to the online album.
5. Whenever a photo is deleted or looses the selected amount of stars, it will
be removed from the online album.
