Bug ID: 309758
Severity: wishlist
Version: 2.8.0
Priority: NOR
Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
Summary: automatic check/rules triggered on actions (import,
export, maintenance, ...)
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: julien.t43+kde at gmail.com
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: Usability
Product: digikam
When doing some actions (importing, exporting, maintenance, ...), it would be
nice to have some kind of automatic check/rules which warn user about potential
problem.
For example, when doing an export, I want Meta title or description filled,
that information template is not empty or empty, for most online service, I
want a maximum resolution (attention to resizing done in export dialog), ...
When doing an import, I could check that some meta exists and are not empty (or
opposite, are empty)
The user would be notify for the whole lot and ask if want to continue or not.
After, he can check the log to fix those problem manually.
Reproducible: Always
