[Digikam-devel] Strip geo-tags when exporting

Hi,

While I really like having my images geo-tagged I would rather not
have that data present in all uploaded images.  I like it when I'm out
and about in public places (hiking, zoos, etc.) but would rather not
be posting my home address or friends.  I searched around and this was
all I found:

A tad old but right on topic.  I did vote for it but wanted to see if
anyone here happened to be aware of another solution (outside of
exporting to other files and running mogrify as the above mentions).
Thoughts?

In particular I am using digiKam 2.5.0 under Kubuntu 11.10 and tend to
upload to Picasa.  I just noticed that 2.6.0 though it doesn't appear
to be in Philip's PPA quite yet.  Thanks for your time, and as always,
the great software package.
