Bug ID: 302946
Severity: wishlist
Version: 2.5.0
Priority: NOR
Assignee: digikam-devel at kde.org
Summary: Add 'colors' composite histogram to Adjust Curves tool
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: d.h.j.takken at xs4all.nl
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Component: Image Editor
Product: digikam
The histogram in the side panel of the editor features a very useful composite
view, which shows all three color components on top of each other.
Unfortunately, the Adjust Curves tool lacks this view.
When adjusting curves, it is critical to carefully watch the color channels,
because the lumunance histogram does not always show it when a specific channel
is damaged by truncating pixel values. You need to look at the color channel
histograms to see this. For this reason, I think a composite view is a very
important asset for the Adjust Curves tool.
Reproducible: Always
